Computer Science and Economics
Major at Grinnell College

Using Grinnell's open curriulum to take classes that I believe are fundamental for a well-rounded education like Philosophy & Art History, while also working towards my double major in Computer Science and Economics.

Software, Finance and
the Future of the Markets

I strongly believe that with the rise of Large Language Models like ChatGPT, the future of the markets, particularly the equity markets, will be a measure of who has the most precise algorithim in place.

The only way to truly create software that can outperform human cognition when it comes to the equity market is to use reliable and a plethora of training data, allowing it to predict movements in the markets that may not be extremely common.

However, it is easy to get trapped in the pitfall believing that past performance has any influence on future results. Given the extremely fragile state of AI right now, it is best to work in conjunction with software, rather than try to automate the process of buying and selling shares, futures and options.

Personal Projects and Experience

My latest projects, including programming in Python and C with a backend in SQL.

Parking Management Database System

With a Python frontend and a SQL backend, allows for users to save the details of each car parked, along with number of empty spaces and their loaction.

True Shuffle Algorithim

Taking in account what "feels" random to the mind, created a shuffle algorithim that makes sure different artists, genres and types of production are all included in the final shuffled lists.

Stock Suggest Algorithim

Using a real-time stock information API from Alpha Vantage, this program suggests a Buy, Sell or Hold on any stock you enter based on historical performance of that market and the stock.
